There are numerous adult ministry opportunities at Tyger River Presbyterian Church. Sunday morning adult Christian Education classes are offered each week, but there are also many other groups that meet regularly for adults across the life cycle. The below details share a little more about each of these gatherings, including contact information for those interested in learning more.

Christian Education

Multiple adult Christian Education classes meet every Sunday morning at 9:00am.

These classes included Bible studies, as well as more thematic or book studies. The classes are open to everyone.

“Hope & Hops" is a ladies group that meets

the first Wednesday of each month at 

RJ Rockers Brewing Company.

Come at 6:30 to socialize. Discussion begins at 7:00pm.


Topics vary by month and are emailed out and posted on social media.

“What Would Jesus Brew” (WWJB), our men's group, is held the third Tuesday of every month at

RJ Rockers Brewing Company.


We meet for “social hour” at 6:00pm featuring complimentary hand-crafted beers and snacks.


At 7:00pm we have a one hour Bible-based discussion, led by the pastor or a “guest moderator”.


The discussion might be based on a scripture of passage or simply a thought-provoking question.

No RSVP required and everyone is welcome!


The Choir

 works diligently to present excellent music in worship so that listeners will see and feel the power and beauty of God through music.

The Choir meets

 The 2nd Sunday of each month from 11:05am -12:00pm


      The 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:00 - 7:00pm

The Praise Band

helps lead Worship every Sunday. The band singers and members are volunteers coming from a variety of musical backgrounds.

The Praise Band meets Wednesdays from 6:00-6:45pm.
