ADULT MINISTRY

There are numerous adult ministry opportunities at Tyger River Presbyterian Church. 

Sunday School classes are offered each week and there are many other groups that meet regularly for adults across the life cycle. 

Christian Education

Multiple adult classes meet every Sunday morning at 9am.

These classes included Bible studies, as well as more thematic or book studies. The classes are open to everyone.

“Hope & Hops" is our women's group that meets

the first Wednesday of each month at 

RJ Rockers Brewing Company.

Come at 6:30 to socialize. Discussion begins at 7:00pm.

 

Topics vary by month and are emailed out and posted on social media.

The Choir works diligently to present excellent music in worship so that listeners will see and feel the power and beauty of God through music.

Choir meets the 2nd Sunday of each month from 11am -12pm & The 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6 - 7pm

The Praise Band helps lead Worship every Sunday. The band singers and members are volunteers coming from a variety of musical backgrounds.

The Praise Band meets Wednesdays from 6 - 6:45pm.

“What Would Jesus Brew” (WWJB), our men's group, is held the third Tuesday of every month at

RJ Rockers Brewing Company.

 

We meet for “social hour” at 6:00pm featuring complimentary hand-crafted beers and snacks.

 

At 7:00pm we have a one hour Bible-based discussion, led by the pastor or a “guest moderator”.

 

The discussion might be based on a scripture of passage or simply a thought-provoking question.

No RSVP required and everyone is welcome!

“Free Spirits" is our group of older adults (50+) who gets together periodically for meals, day trips, and more. 

Past and upcoming activities include: Sunday Brunch, shows at Flat Rock Playhouse, tasting events, and MORE!

Gatherings are announced via email, social media, and at church.
