CHILDREN

Tyger River Presbyterian Church is devoted to helping children grow in the life of faith. This commitment starts with our weekly Sunday School classes for children of all ages every Sunday at 9am. Our commitment doesn’t end there though! The information below provides more examples of our ministry to children, including how our children participate in the church’s service to the community.

Christian Education is a fundamental part of our ministry to children.

Sunday School classes are offered every Sunday morning at 9am for children of all ages.

The Children are currently using the "Growing in Grace & Gratitude" curriculum.

CHILDCARE

Childcare is available during both our

Sunday School hour (9am)

and the Worship Service (10am).

Our Childcare is staffed with both

trained employees and church volunteers.

All childcare workers and volunteers have completed our Safe Place Training program and have cleared a background check.

CHILDREN'S
WORSHIP

At Tyger River, our children are active participants and leaders in our worship. Every Worship Service includes a

Children's Sermon and our Children’s Choir takes part in Worship a few times during the year.  Younger children are invited to Children’s Church class each Sunday following the Children's Sermon.

SERVING

As a church, we believe children are an essential part of our service to the community and the world and  we are constantly looking for ways for them to serve in Christ’s name. For example, one Sunday a month our children help pack backpack food bags for children and families in need in our neighborhood as part of

our Feed the Future ministry.
