Updated CDC Guidelines

The CDC’s recommendations are for everyone (regardless of their vaccination status) to wear a mask indoors if their community has a “substantial” or “high” rate of COVID transmission. Spartanburg County is currently classified as “high” transmission. Following South Carolina law, parents may decide whether their children (under age 12) wear a mask.

We will continue to practice social distancing in our service. Sign-ups are no longer necessary.  An usher will be available to help you find seating when you arrive for worship. We will continue to monitor COVID cases and CDC guidelines before implementing some other elements of our service, including passing of the peace and congregational singing.

The goal of CDC's recommendations is to provide protection for both fully vaccinated as well as the unvaccinated -- especially those who are at increased risk due to compromised immunity and children under 12 who are not eligible for the vaccine.
